COVID-19 Policies: Updated 6/23/21

At PetSafe® Village (“PSV”), our top priority is your pet’s safety which we deliver through the extraordinary group of talented professionals who make up our team.  According to the Center for Disease Control (“CDC”) there is no evidence that animals play a significant role in spreading COVID-19. While the risk of animals spreading COVID-19 to humans is considered low PSV will take extreme caution during daily operations due to the high traffic of pets we see daily.

 

In order to protect pets, pet parents and our dedicated teammates, we are taking the following steps. 

 

  • Following Center for Disease Control (“CDC”) recommendations as well as local health guidelines on the best practices for mitigating risk.

  • Providing hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes in breakrooms, lobby and throughout facility.

  • Continue to follow industry best standards of cleanliness throughout our facility which includes disinfecting all suites and common areas on a nightly basis.

  • Self-bathing station is closed until further notice.

  • Facility tours will be offered with limited times, by appointment only. Use this link to schedule

  • New customers will be allowed to enter the facility for their first visit by appointment only.

  • Training classes will be scheduled as allowed.

 

Reservation Policies:

  • Lobby hours:

    • Monday-Friday, 7:00am-7:00pm. *For all services. After-hours service available outside of regular lobby hours for $15 fee.

  • Curbside check-in/out for all services. **Optional for Bearden Hill Location only**

  • New customers will be allowed to enter the facility for their first visit by appointment only (must be pre-scheduled). Upon arrival complete the curbside check-in form. A teammate will be out to greet you as soon as possible. Policies for entering the facility:

    • Customers should follow CDC Mask Guidelines. PSV teammates will be masked during all interactions with customers.

    • Only two people will be allowed to enter with the pet.

    • Customer must always be accompanied by a PSV teammate

  • Upon check-in PetSafe Village teammates will retrieve your pet from your vehicle using your pet’s own collar/harness and leash.

  • For curbside service we ask that all customers follow the current CDC Mask Guidelines.

  • Customers should not visit facility in any capacity if they or anyone in their household is a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19 until the person’s fever (defined as ≥ 100.4°F) is absent for at least 72 hours without the use of fever reducing medication, other symptoms have improved, and at least 7 days have passed since symptom onset. 

  • Customers should not visit facility in any capacity if they or anyone in their household has had a fever (defined as ≥ 100.4°F) within the past 24 hours.

  • No personal pet belongings (beds, toys, dishes, etc.) will be allowed in the facility except food, medication, collars, harnesses, and leashes. This policy is no longer a safety protocol due to the Covid-19 response, but a permanent PetSafe Village policy. PetSafe Village will provide bedding and toys to guests. This allows us to provide premium bedding and toy options while maintaining high sanitization standards, efficient service, and comfort for your pet.

  • Cash payments will not be accepted. Credit card payment only. If you have a card on file this will be charged upon check-out (any packages will be applied first). If you do not have a credit card on file our team will contact you for payment by phone.

 

Policies for Teammates:

  • Masks must be worn during all in-person contact with customers.

  • Follow CDC Mask Guidelines when interacting with PSV Teammates.

  • Frequent handwashing with soap and water for 20 seconds.

  • Sanitize high touch areas frequently:

    • Counters, ipads, workstations, door handles, rest rooms, break rooms, food cart, etc.

  • Sanitize workstations (computers, ipads, writing utensils, etc.) at the beginning and ending of each shift.
